How refunds, cancellations, unused tokens, and billing disputes are handled for PostIdeas subscriptions and token purchases.

Thank you for subscribing to PostIdeas, a service provided by Velocity Tech Inc. Please read this Refund Policy carefully before making a purchase. This policy explains when you can and cannot receive a refund, how cancellations work, and what happens to unused tokens and credits.
1. General Policy
PostIdeas operates a strict no‑refund policy. All sales are final. We do not offer refunds for:
- Subscription fees (monthly or annual)
- Token purchases
- Unused tokens or credits
- Partial subscription periods
- Account membership of any kind
2. Subscription Cancellation
2.1 How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at support@postideas.co.
2.2 Cancellation Timing
To avoid being charged for the next billing period, you must cancel your subscription before your monthly or annual anniversary date.
- Monthly subscriptions: cancel before your monthly renewal date.
- Annual subscriptions: cancel before your annual renewal date.
2.3 Effective Date of Cancellation
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- You retain access to your account and features until the end of the paid period
- No pro‑rated refunds are provided for early cancellation
Example: If your billing date is the 15th of each month and you cancel on the 10th, you will:
- Continue to have access until the 15th
- Not be charged on the 15th
- Lose access to your account on the 15th
- Forfeit all unused tokens on the 15th
3. Unused Tokens and Credits
3.1 No Refunds for Unused Tokens
- Unused tokens have no cash value
- Tokens cannot be refunded or converted to cash
- Tokens cannot be transferred to another account
- Tokens expire upon account cancellation
3.2 Forfeiture Upon Cancellation
When you cancel your subscription:
- All unused tokens are immediately forfeited
- Token balances are set to zero
- You cannot use tokens after your paid period ends
- No compensation is provided for forfeited tokens
3.3 Token Expiration
Depending on your subscription plan, tokens may also expire:
- Monthly plans: unused tokens typically expire at the end of the billing cycle (check your specific plan).
- Annual plans: token expiration varies by plan (check your specific plan).
- Additional purchased tokens: expiration terms are specified at time of purchase.
4. Account Reactivation
4.1 No Credit Restoration
If you reopen your account after cancellation:
- Previous unused tokens are not restored
- You start with a fresh token allocation based on your new plan
- Previous favorites and saved insights may not be available
- Account history may be limited or unavailable
4.2 Starting Fresh
Reactivating your account is treated as a new subscription:
- New billing cycle begins
- New token allocation provided
- Previous balances are not carried over
- No retroactive credits applied
5. Billing Errors
5.1 Legitimate Billing Errors
We will provide refunds only in cases of verified billing errors, such as:
- Duplicate charges for the same billing period
- Charges after successful cancellation before renewal date
- Technical errors resulting in incorrect charges
- Unauthorized charges on your account

7. Free Trial Credits
7.1 Free Trial Structure
PostIdeas offers 2 free credits to new users:
- No credit card required
- No automatic billing or subscription
- Credits are associated with your email address and IP address
- Free credits allow you to test our AI content generation features
7.2 Free Trial Limitations
- One free trial per person: limited to one free trial per email address and IP address.
- 2 credits only: you receive exactly 2 free credits to try the service.
- No refunds or exchanges: free credits have no cash value and cannot be refunded.
- Cannot be combined: free credits cannot be combined with paid subscriptions.
- Expiration: free credits may expire (check your account for details).
7.3 After Free Credits Are Used
Once you use your 2 free credits:
- You must purchase a paid subscription to continue using the service
- You choose when and if to subscribe
- We will never charge you without your explicit authorization
- You can subscribe at any time through your account settings
7.4 Abuse Prevention
To prevent abuse of the free trial system:
- We track trials by email address and IP address
- Creating multiple accounts to obtain additional free credits is prohibited
- Accounts found abusing the free trial system will be terminated
- We reserve the right to deny free trial access if abuse is suspected
7.5 Transitioning to Paid Subscription
When you're ready to subscribe:
- Choose a subscription plan that fits your needs
- Enter your payment information
- You will be charged immediately for your first billing period
- Paid subscription tokens are separate from free trial credits
- Our no‑refund policy applies to all paid subscriptions
8. Service Issues
8.1 Technical Problems
We do not provide refunds for:
- Temporary service outages
- Scheduled maintenance
- Internet connectivity issues on your end
- Browser compatibility issues
- User error or misunderstanding of features
- Dissatisfaction with AI‑generated content

In the rare case of extended service outages (72+ consecutive hours):
- We may provide account credit or token compensation
